American Association of Community Colleges, March 2011

Summary:

This new report looks at the contributions made by associate and bachelor's degree nursing program. It finds, in part, that the "nation depends on the successes of both associate and bachelor’s-level schools of nursing, because they contribute individually to collectively building a strong nursing workforce." Significantly, ADN programs produce the largest number of the nation's minority nurses.
