Summary:

Leaders at the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) introduced plans to redesign their peer review process citing federal pressure to change regional accreditation. Proposals included outside financial auditors for publicly traded education companies, making institutional findings letters public, and requiring member schools to measure progress towards their learning outcomes and compare these measures to those of peers.
