The Pell Institute, May 2011

This report focuses on the effectiveness of student support services targeted at low-income, first-generation college students. The report concludes that "some of the types of student support services established in the literature as setting a high standard for strategic academic and social student assistance are incorporated in the DeVry University structure."

The report also made several recommendations for improving these support services, including changes in data gathering, transparency of success metrics, and attendance tracking activities.
